About Sharon
Hello and welcome! My name is Sharon Hills-Bonczyk and my dharma is to give back some of what I’ve experienced from practicing yoga for over 40 years. Yoga and meditation have supported me through physical challenges and given me greater strength, flexibility, clarity, and the profound joy of deep inner peace. I can't imagine not having yoga & meditation in my life.
Highly trained, attentive and caring, my style is patient, therapeutic, and supportive to students of all skill levels. I share the richness of my practices with love, encouragement, and inspiration. Managing our cozy home studio gives me great joy.
I am a 500-hour certified Kripalu yoga teacher, certified Vishoka Meditation teacher through the Himalayan Institute, and a certified Ayurvedic Educator through the College of Ayurveda.

About Steve
Until he recently retired, Steve worked full-time as an airline agent. He now serves as the neighborhood handyman, loves gardening, and supports his yoga-teacher family in many ways. He has been practicing yoga since 2010 and is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher. Steve became interested in yoga after a series of back injuries that were getting progressively worse. Yoga significantly reduced, if not eliminated, all of his symptoms and made a big difference in the health of his back and overall well-being. In addition, he has placed meditation at the heart and soul of his life. Whenever he misses a day, he says it is quite different. About Summer Our daughter, Summer Joy, teaches at our home studio in addition to other locations around the Twin Cities. She also leads workshops and retreats with us. Summer is a yoga teacher, dancer, artist, and Spanish interpreter. She is the Ceramic Art Professor at Macalester College and the recipient of a number of art and teaching awards. About Zac Our son, Zac, also a Kripalu yoga teacher, spent one year as an intern at the Kripalu School of Yoga in Massachusetts. He lived in New York City for 5 years where he worked as a musician before relocating to Los Angeles with his partner, Sophia, an herbalist and ayurvedic practitioner. Zac is a yoga teacher, a wilderness guide, and taught "Yo Re Me" yoga for kids in addition to working in the service industry and creating music, which has always been his passion. He leads retreats around the world with us, and has also led a variety of workshops. About David David Lacey, my son-in-law, is also a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and has led retreats around the world with us. David is a designer and brings an artistic flair to all that he does including the retreats he helps to plan and lead. |
